On Wednesday 13th April 2011, the EPS eLearning Team at the University of Manchester held a Symposium on the Benefits of eLearning Technologies, in conjunction with the Engineering, Physical Sciences and Maths, Statistics and Operational Research Subject Centres from the Higher Educational Academy.
With over 80 delegates and presenters from the North of England and Scotland, the event was oversubscribed. The symposium consisted of an opening plenary with a keynote speaker, 4 parallel workshop sessions consisting of 17 workshops total (12 of which were presented by University of Manchester staff), and a closing plenary about the sustainability of Information and Communication Technologies.
The event was an overwhelming success, with feedback showing that many found the day both informative and useful.
